items purchased from this site are vintage or antique and consequently character marks can be seen due to the age of the item. items are purchased as seen on the photographs and as described. prior to purchase if you have any questions or queries about please contact us. please quote the item code on all correspondence to avoid misunderstandings. we will make every endeavor to point out if there is any serious damage, defect, cracks, restoration, etc. we cannot cover every eventuality so if you have any questions please contact us via e-mail before purchase. these web pages may contain inadvertent inaccuracies or typographical errors. these will be corrected at artfour's discretion, as they are found.


conclusion of contract

the presentation of the products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer, but only an invitation to order. by clicking the button [complete order] you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. your purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order with an order confirmation by email immediately after receiving your order.


prices and shipping cost

all prices on this website are the final prices including the statutory VAT. the shipping cost depend on the destination, they are calculated and shown before checkout. it may occur that the customer has to pay import duties.


mode of payment

all orders have to be payed in advance of delivery. we accept shopify payments and paypal payments.


transfer of perils

if the customer is a private consumer the risk of accidental loss or worsening of the item is transferred to customer on acceptance.if the customer is a businessman the risk of accidental loss or worsening of the item is transferred to the customer in the moment of the handover to the haulage contractor.

reservation of ownership

up to the complete payment the item remains sole property of artfour.

place of jurisdiction

for all claims under the contract is ulm. if the customer has no general jurisdiction in germany or a merchant, legal person under public law or public law special fund, the court of jurisdiction for all disputes is the headquarters of artfour. german law applies. the application of the united nations convention on contracts for the international sale of goods (cisg) is excluded.


the copyright in this publication is owned by artfour. all other trademarks or trade names referred to in these materials are the property of their respective owners. the content and works provided on these web pages are governed by the copyright laws of germany. duplication, processing, distribution, or any form of commercialization requires the prior written consent of artfour.

return policy

in case you decide that you do not want the item that you have purchased, you have 30 days from the time that you received it to notify us of your decision.
items must be returned in the same state in which they were sent. refund will be granted immediately after the return of the item. in any case the customer bears the costs for the reshipment.

right of cancellation. [european union]

this section applies to customers based in the European Union (“EU custumer”). the EU custumer has the right to cancel its order without giving reason within 14 days from the day on which the EU custumer or its designated recipient receives an Item (“cancellation period”). The EU custumer must inform artfour of its decision to cancel the order in writing (including by email) within this period. artfour will refund all payments received from the EU custumer for the Items purchased and the EU custumer shall incur no fee as a result of such refund. any refund may be withheld until artfour has received the items back from the EU custumer. the EU custumer must send back the items following the instructions of artfour (but in all cases the EU custumer will be given at least fourteen (14) days to return the item from the date of cancellation). the EU customer will bear the cost of returning any item to artfour. artfour may make a deduction from the refund for loss in value of the Item returned due to the EU customer’s handling of the Items beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.

to exercise this right of cancellation, an EU customer must send written notice during the cancellation period to Markus Mix, Lindenstr. 2, 89180 Berghülen, Fax: 07344/9520494 or email us at info@artfour.com. the notice should state name, residential address, contact details and email address, invoice number, item number, date of delivery to your possession, and that you wish to exercise the EU consumer right of cancellation.

dispute resolution [european union]

this section applies to customers based in the European Union (“EU custumer”). the EU Commission has created an internet platform for online dispute resolution. the platform serves as a point of contact for the out-of-court settlement of disputes regarding contractual obligations arising from online sales contracts. more information is available at the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

severability clause

if any provision of the terms and conditions shall be invalid or impracticable in whole or in part this shall not affect the validity of the remaining part of this terms and conditions. in stead of of the invalid or impracticable provision an appropriate provision shall apply which is nearest to the intent of the contracting parties.
